Date: Sep 2 2008 12:00AM Table Tennis Results Over the summer there was plenty of activity in the Table Tennis squad, Igor Morais who missed out on the China trip due to passport problems, more than made up for it with a trip to the Euro minis Championships in Strasbourg, France. Igor came back as the best of all the players on England duty, beating many players ranked much higher than himself. Well done Igor! We also had Amanda Phillip and Nico Anderson participating in the very prestigious UK School Games, wheelchair competition. The games were shown on TV and well covered by the press. They didn't just compete but they were both very successful with Amanda finishing in 5th place overall and Nico winning 11-9 in the fifth and final game after being 2-1 down to collect the Bronze medal. They have only been playing a short while and are both showing great potential, we hope London 2012 is a real possibility!
