Date: Sep 23 2009 8:47PM Prem. 1 and Call To Action- Sept. 2009 Hi Members, After the very impressive results of the teams outside of the Premier division it was going to be a tough act to follow for the first team. The first team is an important part of the club comprising of players that other players aspire to! We had a fantastic start with 3 points out of 4 with all players showing a good ability and fighting spirit. The very frustrating thing is that we could have won all four matches over the weekend but some variable performances cost us!!! In every situation, as sports people, we try to improve and learn and I had a great weekend to learn about our players and our club!!! In would normally be critical about the performances of individual players. However, I won't do this., We can all do better always! Looking to the future, the most important thing in my view now is responsibility. Players, Coaches and Members need to take more responsibility if we want to ensure this club moves forward. I was so impressed with the feeling of club at the the weekend, Drumchapel Glasgow had volunteers, members' parents helping to ensure that the club came across in a good light. I'm always open to suggestions and help from our members and I would love to see more people helping to create a better Club environment helping to move us forward. Let's improve our club together and create a feeling and an identity like no other! We've already had people stepping forward. Please do your part. Let's move forward let's make PROGRESS!!!
